Emacs and C

Hi. I'm trying to find a C-compiler, using e-macs. I'm quite new at this, so I was wondering if anyone can help me. Or, can anyone suggest any other free programs out there that would be easy to use? I'm using a Win 98 (maybe SE) platform. I don't know which attachments to download, and how to bind it with e-macs. Thanks.

i know that borland had a free compiler in their site, look around im sure you will find it, i know i have a copy of it in my home computer, but that will probably take days to find, so your best bet is to search around the borland site.

Yeah, I second DJGPP, its a really great port of GNU. Their RHIDE IDE is pretty good too.
