Emachine Power Supply PSU Question

Does the emachine T2542 use just a normal atx psu? I know they used to use odd shaped ones, and even messed with the wires on the connector (changed them around) Anyone know about this specific model?

In my experience, Bestec psus suck. I have replaced many of them. Buy something better from Newegg, ZZF, Outpost, etc..

Mainly need to know if it is the same as any other psu, if it is, I'm obviously not going to buy the beasttech and go with a brand name.

It should be exactly the same, ATX style...

The newer eMachines (post Gateway) use standard ATX. I have three of them and replaced the PSU in all of them for "good measure." 😉
