I have no idea why mortalwombat.com is inaccessible to you, Nik. Gremlins, maybe?

But I have uploaded the kitty pix to another site. I hope this works.

And this one is the re-enactment of Elvis on the clock, as described earlier.

Awwwwww. :( I'm so sorry, poor Elvis. :( :( :(

At 16, though, he's had a long, full life.

I do not know whether cats go to heaven
Of course they do!

Very sad to hear.

We have 6 cats and 5 dogs. I am an animal magnet. My old lady kitty is 17 years old. I know the day is coming, but I try and let her sleep with us whenever she wants to.
Enjoy Elvis all you can, you won't regret it.

I have 3 cats. I just had to go get my oldest and bring him in here. He is kind of senile and pretty old. 12-14 maybe. I am not sure when i got him but i was a kid. I love all my cats despite them doing things theyre not supposed to do. *pets max*. purring away.

I am sorry to hear about Elvis :( I hate putting down animals!!!

I am afraid that when i go off to college after my JC-stint is when Max or my second oldest Sparky will pass. I cant bear to think of that, it makes me so sad thinking i wouldnt be around them anymore for a few years and they have so much fun with me. oh geze..

Sorry to hear Elvis is leaving the building. :(

He looks like a love. I had a 15 or so pound black tom, Eli, who I lost to cancer. On a cold winter night, his favorite trick was to dive under the covers and full lentgh body snuggle. :)

Great vet, and a great cat. I know how you feel about this one. My sympathies. :(

If you want a thing that is way up high, and you don't think you can jump that far, try anyway. If you fail, you will probably land on your feet, and even if you don't, you can pretend that you meant to fall on your ass.

I really enjoyed that, thank you WombatWoman :)

The death of an animal was the asteroid that erased my first world and created me. I didn't know there could be such pain.

It is possible to leave your mark on the world without pissing on something, but pissing is easier.
May I use #4 in my signature?

The 16 years of companionship is very special to any pet owners. At least you'll have the memories and tthose great snapshots.

Oh, Jean, what can any of us say?

You asking me for my poem about my Dane Bogie's death made me happy and sad and proud, all in one.

Now that you're posting again, I know why you earned your title. :)

I love my beautiful kitty. She's so nice, and interesting. My friend who rescued her from a dumpster (!) almost wishes he had kept her.

:(:(

I generally don't like cats, but this thread has me teary-eyed. I'm sorry for you WW. I hope Elvis lives out his remaining days in happiness with his surely-beloved mommy :) (do female cat owners consider themselves the 'mommy' to their cats like female dog owners tend to? or maybe it's just those with kids.). My puppy Bizmark isn't such a puppy any more. He's probably 15 by now. I'll miss him when he's gone :(

Today the old boy gave me another smile, by finding a new pedestal and placing himself on it.

Scan This!

Elvis is very pleased with the progress of human technology.

Since the times of the ancient Egyptians, mankind has invented many new and highly advanced devices upon which cats may take naps. :)

Elvis has the right idea, but he needs to improve his spelling. That's a flatbed scanner, not a cat bed scanner. ;)

LOL! True, dat.

Occasionally Elvis will share this sleeping spot with his friend Tuvix. It is, after all, a "multipuss" scanner.
