Seems it is a SF controller.
In all honesty, I see no real reason to go with them, when you can get crucial or toshiba or sammy, or intel or sandisk...
They're not located in Delaware, only incorporated there. (Common for corporations.)
Their phone number begins with 302, where is that?

They might assemble those SSDs at their facility, but judging by their website and the looks of their building, I would guess they are more of a reseller.
The only files that don't compress well are videos and archives. The rest of the files compress very well.stay away from any Sandforce based controller SSD, they suck in real world performance, they are only good with compressed data, which most are files aren't compressed......
I am just wondering how you found this thread... it seems a bit odd that someone asks about your SSD, then, you show up.Hi everyone,
I hope you don't mind my stepping in to address some of your concerns. Our company operates out of Newark DE, but the SSD itself is assembled in Texas. The flash utilized generally varies between the big three: Micron, Samsung & SK Hynix. Roughly 75% of our flash derives from Asia (just as any other SSD) and 25% is from a fab plant in the USA. So in answer to your question about assembly, most of our flash comes from Asia and everything is physically assembled in the USA. The majority of our hard drives produced actually go in to a brand new laptop before shipping out to the customer. If you type "Eluktro SSD" in to Amazon's search engine, it will provide results of laptops that come equipped with our hard drive and RAM internally. I personally think Amazon's verified reviews are a great way to see the quality of a seller and product. Customer service and quality are two things on which we've built our reputation. If you have any questions, please just let me know.
Thank you!

As for SF controller, they did have issue before, but, from everything I have read, they have fixed pretty much all problems.

But, since you are here... is it the generic firmware that you use, or do you have the personnel to tweak it ?
I am also wondering why people should try your line of products, instead of Crucial, or Toshiba, or Samsung or another big OEM. What makes your product stand out from the other "me too" clones out there ?
OK, one more question from me...
In the event of a RMA on your SSD, do you ship back a refurbished unit, like Samsung, or do you ship back a new unit, like Toshiba ?
If it is a refurbished unit, what is refurbished about it, is it just the NAND that is new, and the guts are from some other RMA, or do you reuse NAND chips ?
