Elsa video cards?

It has been sometime since I checked to see if new drivers was out for my Elsa Nvida video card and found out that elsa's homepage is gone. Did Elsa go out of business?

I believe they did go under. I have one of their cards and I use the detonator drivers from nvidia.com

There have been various rumors about what happened to Elsa. The last I heard is that they're still under normal productions in Europe, but go by the name of VisionTek in the USA. So basically, VisionTek = Elsa.

I have no links at this time to back this up, but hopefully someone else can fill you in on details.

I was under the impression that they had got a contract with Creative for Elsa to make all the Creative video cards now too!....I wonder whats happening with that.

And Elsa's 6 year warranties?...these now void or what?

I read their German and European offices have closed but their Asian offices are still working ,don`t know if they will be here for good.

Visiontek is not Elsa ,different companies.Btw their(Elsa) Japanese website is still up .

I think ELSA.com is gone for good but it still kept drivers update for the rest of the world.

I think they stopped making consumer products a few months ago, but I can't recall the specifics.

i think hercules was in negotiations to buy the elsa brand names. visiontek used to make cards for them though, and they were rebranded.
