I have just received the OEM version of a Gladiac MX I ordered. I am disappointed to see that the board is not the same board featured on the cover of the retail box. I chose this brand primarily for the low-profile board design but the OEM board I received is a regular full-height board. Another obvious difference is that this OEM board has a rather long heatsink as opposed to the regular square kind. Does anyone know about this OEM variant?

I just ordered a Retail version, but I won't see it until next week. If you haven't gotten any other info/posts by then I will post.

consider yourself lucky. That is probably the Nvidia refernce board. Which is easily modable to be recognized as a synergy II card. The MX really shows some good improvements with this mod, or so I've heard. Search forums for xtennis and it will point you to what all the fuss is about.
