Anyone use these? I am thinking about getting a set (I assume they work with a GF2MX made by Guillemot/Hercules). The problem is, I have a 19" monitor that isn't very high quality. Do I need a really high refresh rate? I think this monitor will only go to like 85Hz. I usually run 60hz just because it doesn't bother me. Anyway, are they worth it? I can get them for like $35 USD (the wired version, not the IR version). If I ran the monitor at 85Hz does that mean I would effectively get 42.5Hz because every other refresh would be for the other eye?

BTW, I also posted this in the general hardware forum, I will check both though.

I got these awhile ago and IF I remember correctly they work the best at 60hz. I would check on Elsa.com for sure though.

I don't remember because I used them for a week and threw them in the closet. Not that great IMO.

IF you can get them to work it's kinda a thrill. Although I did get a bit of headache after awhile. I had a helluva time getting them to work.

EDIT: I take that back, I it's 120hz it ran best at. 60hz per eye. Otherwise you got minor flicker. I remember running at 100hz at 1024x768 and it still was alright though.
