Wouldn't getting it from seawater be cheaper?
Lithium is not really rare. I don't get it.I dunno if it's just me who can see these things but I think..
This deserves its own conspiracy theory thread and I'm thinking it goes beyond just usual conspiracy..
Just connect the dots:

Is it just me being paranoid or do these pieces fit together and form a scary picture??
Or some of the useless dry lakes in CA.Wouldn't it be better for US to mine what was found in Arkansas ?
Why cause environmental damage here when we can export it like plastic waste into the world.Maybe I’m an idiot but doesn’t the US have a decent amount of lithium that can be mined but it’s just more costly to mine?
Want to know how I know you've never applied for a building permit in California? Related to that, take a look at California's HSR and tell me how that lithium wouldn't cost a billion dollars a ton.Or some of the useless dry lakes in CA.

I’m more concerned with what’s happening with gallium and China choking off supplies ahead of any tariff wars.
Well, they found of bunch of it processed, imbedded in rocks, stacked inside a giant box made out of logs in a flooded cave in Utah recently. The logs were carbon dated to over 500 years ago, yet it was only officially discovered in 1875. Aztecs knew a lot more than we give them credit for.I’m more concerned with what’s happening with gallium and China choking off supplies ahead of any tariff wars.
What happened to drill baby drill?

Need gallium for semiconductors. China controls 98% of the world’s usable supply (deposits aren’t helpful if you can’t dig it up and process it.)Do ellaborate
