The flight tracking thing is something I cannot back him up on, ADSB data is public already. Hell I can pick it up without internet if any flights are within 200km or so of my house. I sometimes pickup flights as far as 400km. At some point I actually want to put the antenna outside and see how much further I can pickup since it's in the attic now, and it's technically suppose to be line of sight. The equipment was free from Flightaware.

Teslas track you way more so he's hypocrite to be worried about tracking him when his cars are tracking all his customers.
It's almost like Musk isn't what claimed he was.

A free speech absolutist.

It'll be even funnier when they turn on the "pay me $11 to turn off Twitter tracking your assassination coordinates" feature next week. Should be entertaining ...

The guy bought a 44 billion dollar toy and people are getting mad cause he's playing with it. He bought it, and he can break it if he wants.
Yes, because customers, business partners, investors, and lenders should not be allowed to speak a word of complaint when a new CEO tanks a company. Because free speech and all that.

Odd how quiet the people on the right are. I thought they were just defenders of free speech and social media banning people was a violation of free speech?

As usual, their objection was to THEM being banned, not to bans generally.

Does this narsisstic, inept, buffoon not realize why people even use Twitter? People go there to get up to the minute opinions and news from reputable people, and now he's banning them. Twitter can't die soon enough. and there will always be alternatives. This could really be the end of Twitter much sooner than we all expected. That guy is truly insane.

Yeah, if it's now the case that journalists will be banned from Twitter if they, in their day job, report any stories that Elon doesn't like, I really cant see why any self-respecting journo will want to bother with the site. What's the point when your presence there is dependent on constraining what you report in your professional capacity?
Surely this has to start an exodus of the very people who gave that site what little significance it had?

If I were a creditor of his I would be very concerned.

Right. It basically makes the whole "Twitter Files" BS even more of a joke than it already was. There's tons of people trolling the fuck out of Taibbi/Weiss and the response is just crickets.

As I understand it, it's worse than that. He banned journalists not for reporting on his location, but for reporting how he banned the guy who reported on his location, i.e. for reporting a news story about his actions as Twitter boss.

He doesn't like it because it shoots holes in the BS narrative that he doesn't care about his money and doesn't live a rich life. Ponyo used to always spread that BS myth.

And a few for questioning the story of his family allegedly being attacked. You know, the one where he showed a random video including some guy's license plate and urged his flying monkeys to ID him? The one where no police report was filed?

I do remember ponyo bragging early this year about how Elon Musk was making him rich and how great he was. Tesla stock has dropped over 60% from that time - I wonder if ponyo has reconsidered? (I'm sure he hasn't)

We can't forget while announcing a new policy that kind of information can't be shared on twitter anymore without consent from the subject. LOL

Oops!

EDIT: I did a quick search and saw this one. If this is the case...poor guy has just seen his net worth evaporate.

I've never denied I'm full drunk on koolaid. I told people before I bathe in it. It's no secret I'm up to my eyeballs with Tesla stock and options. I've bet my entire family fortune on Elon Musk. I'm fully in the Elon Musk cult, and I like it. But unlike others, I've done my research. So I know what I'm talking about when I talk Tesla and Elon Musk. I have financial incentive to see Tesla succeed and do well. I know Musk can be an asshole. So can I. I find him refreshing and entertaining. I do find all the Elon Musk and Tesla hate amusing. Carry on.
