When it’s going so well that you have to bar the doors to keep people in.
At first I was like "wtf kind of brand is LifePo" and then I realized it was the battery chemistry 😂I'm a big fan of LiFePo batteries: denser power than lead, no thermal runaway, and cleaner chemistry than lead or Li-ion.
I should have written LiFePO4 to be more clear and correct. At first I was like "wtf kind of brand is LifePo" and then I realized it was the battery chemistry 😂
Also included in that brilliant post is a ban on using link aggregators. Brilliant! When it’s going so well that you have to bar the doors to keep people in.
I hate all forums that have rules like that. When it’s going so well that you have to bar the doors to keep people in.

I assume @HurleyBird has changed his mind about our good friend. One thing we can count on everyday, is musk doing yet something else shitty that violates his free speech bullshit. What a POS.
That's because his promise of absolute free speech was never deliverable in the first place. One thing we can count on everyday, is musk doing yet something else shitty that violates his free speech bullshit. What a POS.
Well we knew he was full of shit before Twitter. Sure total free speech may not be possible the thing is he's allowing all the hate speech and a blocking everybody else for whatever reason he wants, from journalists to being able to link to other websites. That's because his promise of absolute free speech was never deliverable in the first place.
But that's Musk. The guy is the ultimate vaporware salesman.
All I can think about right now is the last scene in the Producers. Prisoners of love....I'm getting the idea that it would just be giving Elon $4.4billion and he gets to do what he wants.

Leaving the internet might do wonders for your mental health.I think his plan was always to hand it over to someone else, but have some fun with it first. Like buying a sports car and driving the crap out of it then giving it to a friend.
Been quietly watching all of this unfold, unfortunately it really does seem his promise of freedom of speech was BS after all, just based on everything I see. I had a bad feeling it would be but still had some hopes. He still did some good like getting rid of the ridiculous covid ministry of truth though but banning anyone that criticizes him or posts public information like his flight location is ridiculous. Freedom of speech needs to apply universally to be called that. Can't just pick and choose.
Been testing the waters to see how far the freedom of speech goes but it seems LGBT stuff is still highly protected. Saying the trans movement is a mental health crisis has gotten me a 7 day ban. Speaking out against the WEF and calling them a terrorist organization is also bannable as that was one of the tweets in the report. Seems odd that would be bannable.
Not sure if this ban is him or just the algorithm though as it feels like someone just mass reported my tweets as it's odd I had 3 in a row that were flagged and they were completely unrelated. Lot of that stuff is probably automated and perhaps it's a work in progress to tweak that. I expect my next ban is going to be permanent so I might make a backup account and use that to comment on more sensitive things and keep the current one for memes and retweets.

The answers you seek as to why freedom of speech wasn't applied universally can be found within your own post. It's because you really only wanted that freedom for yourself. And you weren't alone in that. Far from it.
But still less than 43%.
