Declawing a cat is normally accepted as humane if done properly through a vet. What about removing a dog's vocal cords? 😛

Call up the vet to request the procedure.
If he is hesitant, put the dog on the phone.

When the vet thinks you're joking, take the dog and sit in the waiting room.
After about 15 minutes, you'll get the procedure done for free.
