Also since Zuffa (who owns UFC) owns the WEC for promoting mostly its lower weight class fights (there's a few overlaps) I think they should start a womens class in the WEC. Also we need to see Urijah Faber fight BJ Penn either at 145 or 155. That would be epic.

That sucks for Tito. I used to hate him. Then I started to respect him during TUF...he seemed like a good coach and wanted his team to do well.

I think a lot of his bad boy attitude was for show too, it helped put people in the seats at the time. All in all, I think he did a lot for UFC and the sport.

Now the game has evolved and Tito didn't. So he's without a home and can't compete with the elite anymore. Too bad.

ohh eyah BJ and Faber? that would be great. i would give it to BJ though. he schooled Jen and jen had a good fight with faber he came close to winning.

I also agree WEC should get the women fighters. i so want to see Ciborg/Corana fight

Faber v Pulver close? I don't think we were watching the same fight. Faber was WAY too fast for Pulver and he peppered him with jabs the entire fight, akin to Penn v Sherk.

I agree Penn and Faber would be a great fight but Penn's got a guy named GSP he has to scrap with next.

Fuck her, she also didn't even know the name of the submission she attempted a few fights ago. She's overrated and Cyborg would have smashed her badly. She definitely got saved.

Seth's KO of Kimbo was a weird fluke, not saying he's a top fighter cos he's not. But from interviews I've seen, and knowing how hard he trains, I like the guy. And would like to see him fight more as his skill set improves. Bas still is standing behind Kimbo, you couldn't really ask for a better coach and mentor.

EXC didn't make it because they lost money, they drew huge numbers but you can't compete against UFC. It's sort of like how almost every sound card I had that wasn't from Creative went under (PAS16, GUS Max, Vortex 2)

EXC had some great fighters, Lawler, Cung Le, Baroni. They were doomed from the start you can't exist as long as UFC is around, and they'll be around forever.

Affliction is next.

and to Ocguy31 it should have been the other way around, Bisping isn't that good and Leben just couldn't catch his running ass.

EXC's failure had nothing to do with UFC. Your analogy doesn't work, as well. You only need one sound card. UFC and EXC can share the same audience. The problem was the EXC tried to expand too fast and didn't have the capital to do it, not to mention the Showtime contract was not a good one. Poor management was what led to their downfall, not UFC.

Same here. I thought Tito was an ass and Shamrock was the man. Then I saw them on TUF and came out liking Tito and hating Shamrock. Shamrock is an aweful coach.

yeap. Tito impressed me when he was on TUF. Same with this year Nog is a hell of a coach. he wants them all to succedd. where Frank seems to be trying to be a friend and not coach.

I never thought Bisping was that great. I had the fight on, but I was a bit preoccupied so I wasn't really watching it.

Bisping is an overrated douche bag. He should've lost to Matt Hamill. Hamill definitely got robbed of a win on that fight.

He was being careful to avoid Leben's haymakers. Bisping knew he had the fight by points the whole way, so I guess he didn't want to risk getting KO'd by a lucky punch. I'm pretty sure he could have knocked Leben with a nice head kick, when Leben was taunting by dropping his guard and sticking his chin out though.

Totally robbed. It didn't help Hamill that the fight was in the UK either.

Yea but you cant really fault Bisping for that. What would you have done? Tell the UFC you didnt deserve the victory?

If anything we need a rematch, pronto.

hes not an exciting fighter, he didnt try to finish the fight at all. he just wanted to win on points. he ran the whole match. you could see the fustration in leben after a while. and definitely at the end when he just dropped his guard and let bisping hit him. reminiscent of the nate quarry kalid starnes fight, but not anywhere near as hilarious.

yep, shame bisping dropped to middleweight so it probably wont happen anytime soon. thats alright though, because if he keeps on winning he's going to have to face "the spider" sooner or later.

If anything we need a rematch outside of the UK, pronto.

Fixed that for you.

It had a lot to do with UFC, UFC fans, well a lot of them are gigantic idiots who refuse to watch anything else, and to them MMA = only UFC. EXC would have done worlds better if the average UFC fan wasn't on Dana Whites dick and didn't treat UFC like the only MMA organization in the world. That's how it works, they typically won't give anything outside of UFC even a chance. Gary Shaw's bad ideas and poor overall management didn't help though.

You can fault Bisping for how he acted, he was parading around the ring like he had just KO'ed Hamill. I would have respected him if he had said "thanks for the W but I don't deserve it" He didn't do that, he acted like a douche who totally dominated his opponent. You CAN fault him for that.

When the judges gave Rampage the win over Ninja, Rampage tried to give Ninja the trophy he won and he said "I don't deserve this" because in his mind Ninja won. And that fight was a lot closer than Bisping vs Hamill. Bisping should have maned up and said "fuck it I lost" that's why I don't like the dude.

and no such luck on him facing Silva, The Spider moved up to LHW last thing I heard.

Because you have to hammer for hours on that lumpy head of his. It even took Silva a while to crack that thing. Leben keeps talking about his knock out power but the only success I've seen from him came from wearing his opponents fists out with his face.

I agree...Bisping showed no respect to Hamill after that. I lost any respect for him after that...he could have at least showed something. You won't see a Bisping/Hamill rematch anytime soon...Hamill lost his last match, and they're not going to put him up against a guy who probably is one loss away from getting cut.

And no, Silva is still MW. In fact, he defends his MW title on Saturday :p Unless he intends on dropping the belt or losing to Cote, which if he loses, hurts his "respectability" in the LHW dept. True, he can still hold onto the MW belt and fight LHW, but unless he gets an immediate title shot at Forrest (which he's fighting Evans now right?), it doesn't make sense to hold up the MW belt in jeopardy while he pursues a career in LHW.

Um, that's WEC. Do you even know where he fights?
