Very simplistic in gameplay, just tap with the beat of the music around the screen but the presentation and the short scenarios that go with the music... brilliant! And the multiplayer aspect is awesome as well. Its DDR in my hands!

Anyone else take a liking to this game? I am psyched they are planning on a sequal!

If you love it and are looking for more of the same, check out Ouendan, which is the original japaneese name.

Different songs. Not sure about translations, I thought I recalled reading that Ouendan was one of the games that has both languages out of the box, but I can't find it written anywhere.

Oh man, it's so fun. The mini-stories are a riot too.

Do you play on easy or normal on single player? Has anyone beat the game?

I just got this game and the game on normal will just last you through a weekend. Granted its addictive and fun, the game is fairly short once you get the hang of it. There is hard mode but its just the same songs with more difficult combos.

This game is really hard. I'd say if you don't know the songs, you're in for a lot of work. I'm stuck on the 7 star one (the ninja kid)... can't get past the first minute. Doh!

Sweatin' - was a nice challenge
Cruisin - getting fun :)
Hard Rock - I'm stuck at the last 2 songs to completely beat the game

Yep! I find that I hear the bass much better with headphones... Hell I even hooked it to my friend's stereo system :D

I cant get into any other rhythm game but this one. This one has so much content to go along with the rhythm action. And the tempo plus the converging circles is a plus.

Again, highly recommended for anyone with a DS. And I tried the multiplayer mode. Very fun with people! And co-op is great if you find someone with the game too. Not to mention, you can even play against yourself with the ghost option. I can't best myself on some of the saved replays...

EBA is indeed a great game, and if you enjoy it then you owe it to yourself to try Osu! Tatake! Ouendan. This was my first imported game (got it off eBay), and while everything is in Japanese I was able to navigate very easily and play the game fine. I think the music in Osu! works better than EBA and the stories are even crazier.
