This is the first lawyer show I've enjoyed in forever. Anyone else watching this? I'd be disappointed if it got cancelled.

I only got to watch a couple of episodes and liked it, but don't think that it's a "must watch" show.

I enjoy it. It won't last long, but it is still better than a lot of the crap on now. You had to jump on at the beginning and accept the premise for it to resonate. It was a farily serious drama with a good bit of whimsy and surreal(kind of in the Pushing Daisies territory.) It has a nice overall story arc with Eli and his dad having tumors/prophet powers, and occasionally delivers some nice wrap-up endings and moments with some real subtlety. The biggest problem is they have the short season and they're sprinting through most of the secondary character plot arcs. So you get a lot personality changes and epiphanies with not enough setup. To use a wine metaphor, little more time in the barrel and you would have a better product.

Out of the procedural dramas, if House is an A+ then Eli is probably a B to B+.

Watch the abc online episodes if you want to catch up.

I got started on Episode 4, after his 'awakening' so I haven't seen the evil corporate lawyer side of him. Right now it's the show I most look forward to each week. I guess I don't watch any feel good happy shows and this fits the bill.

Alright I watched the first 3 episodes and I wouldn't have been impressed either. The musical numbers were long and annoying and the characters were paper thin. It got much better later on IMO. If that's where you stopped, try watching this week and see if you like it any better. Sorry for the bump, my last post on the matter.

Did anyone watch the last two episodes (there was one on Sunday). Both were amazing! This is definitely one of my favorite shows now.

Saw it for the first time last night. Very interesting even without knowing the history. Like boston legal too, but end up missing it most of the time.
