I enjoy it. It won't last long, but it is still better than a lot of the crap on now. You had to jump on at the beginning and accept the premise for it to resonate. It was a farily serious drama with a good bit of whimsy and surreal(kind of in the Pushing Daisies territory.) It has a nice overall story arc with Eli and his dad having tumors/prophet powers, and occasionally delivers some nice wrap-up endings and moments with some real subtlety. The biggest problem is they have the short season and they're sprinting through most of the secondary character plot arcs. So you get a lot personality changes and epiphanies with not enough setup. To use a wine metaphor, little more time in the barrel and you would have a better product.
Out of the procedural dramas, if House is an A+ then Eli is probably a B to B+.
