i didn't like it very much. It was alright, but i'm more of a girl eye candy movie liker. And I was never a big fan of Ferrell. Probably nto the best movie for me to watch, but I was bored.

Can't stand Will Ferrell. I see absolutely nothing at all funny about him, but everyone I know seems to think he is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I got a feeling I will be sitting through it tomorrow so hopefully it is not as bad as EVERYTHING he has ever put out.

I liike Will Ferrell, but I didn't really like this movie. Sorry if it offends any of you rabid fans, if it's any consolence I loved Anchorman... I just couldn't get into Elf, it was so predictable and only parts of it were funny - and most of those not very. Even the hot chick, normally the saving grace of a bad movie, couldn't save this one for me.

Just watched it tonight. Five out of the ten voices in my head thought it was funny. I was actually disapointed to be honest. Decent enough movie but not as good as I was expecting. Needed more Bob Newhart.

no one really says its lol roll on the floor funny because thats not what its supposed to be. its a good "christmas" movie.

I thought it was stupid. and that part where his dad is teaching him how to fix santa sleagh at the begining, where his dad says "there is no christmas sprit because kids think their parents are santa" pissed me off. i had my 8 and 5 year old watching and they picked up on that. :|
