Actually, electronics/audio.

In my stereo setup at home, I have a pair of Acoustic Research 318-PS speakers on the 'A' channel of my Amp (Pioneer VSX-D457 - Link) and split (using a Radio Shack speaker selector) the 'B' channel into Bose 301's and Bose 201's. The thing I'm noticing is that, of all the speakers, the 301's (which are channel B on the speaker selector) sound the loudest, and the AR 318-PS's the quietest.

I'd rather set it up so the AR's sound the loudest; their bass blows away the Bose speakers in accuracy and overall quality, so I'd like the bass and a higher portion of the overall sound to be routed through those. I figured that setting them on the A channel would work that out, but it doesn't seem to.

Suggestions?

thanks,
Rob

Check to make sure they are the same ohm rating. If the Bose are 6 ohm and the Acoustic Research are 8 ohm then you know where the volume level comes in. Also chek to make sure they have the same sensitivity. If the Bose are more sensitive they will be louder because it takes less power to push them.
