Electronic Item via USPS Media Mail ... will it go through?

I sent a CD-RW two weeks ago via USPS.
I was sending it Parcel Post, but the clerk made a mistake and put a media sticker on it.
I thought it might save me some money so I didn't say anything.
Now it has been two weeks and the item is still not arrived. Should I be worried?
What should I do?
Thanks in advance.

I have found that media rate/book rate takes about 8-10 days from east coast to west coast. It is slower, but cheaper.

It was shipped to a buyer from eBay ... now what excuses do I have to make ... any thought? :s

what advice are you looking for?

You screwed up and now the package isn't going to arrive on time. You should tell the guy who's waiting for the package the truth. Also might want to give him a refund since you probably charged him for shipping via USPS Priority Mail.

<< USPS lists media mail as taking 8 days but tellers tell you the range is between 2 and 14 days. >>

It averages about *5 weeks* for me 🙁

I've seen 1-2 months being the average. If it gets there real fast, like a week, it's most likely been misrouted as priority/first class mail. This tends to happen with enveloped mail often.
