electronic degreaser?

To install my liquid cooling on my video card i have to remove the current fan and use a "liquid degreaser" to whipe it off, a friend said rubbing alchahol is a good choice? can anyone confirm this?

That should do it, get the good stuff, 70% or better

I used to use an acetone based cleaner. It worked well.

Agree! Rubbing alchohol contains "grease." The very best small item degreaser is no longer available because of enviro and health hazards - trichlorethylene (TCE). There are some alternatives in spray cans.
