Electrofuel - 15 hours battery for notebooks.

the thing is huge - it's larger than an A4 (8.5" x 11") sheet of paper.

i do agree tho, notebook manufacturers (and portable electronics manufacturers in general) are going cheap when they go low-capacity lithium ion vs. higher capacity lithium polymer

The pad is pretty effective from what I hear. Its quite slim and it should fit in almost all notebook bags except some small sleeves.
The notebook will think it is using AC power and the powerpad will even recharge your laptop's battery. Newer laptops, for example centrino based with a video card likea 9700 mobility will get around 10 hrs of battery life with the 120 model. 16 is definitely doable with the highest capacity powerpad, but thats most likely not a constant gaming estimate.

VoodooPC sells a product like this... rather exactly like this. Its their Voodoo Atom Speedpad. The pad they sell is essentially an electovaya powerpad inside, but has the appropriate plugs to support their notebooks, custom length wires, and encased in an aluminum casing so it can serve as a mousepad.

Do u think it still a worth buy if generally all user commenteed that the product will be spoilt after 18 months of use?

Its US 500 bucks a piece i think
