Electricity in my room really pissing me off

Lately the electricity in my room and my room only has been doing some stupid sh!t and its starting to get on my nerves.

1. Low draw AC->DC converters, like a cell phone charger, emit really high frequency noises that drive me insane, only happens in my room.

2. My subwoofer will often make a deep thump for absolutely no reason, I've already done some troubleshooting and found out it has nothing to do with the source connected. Sometimes all 6 of my speakers decide to join in too.

3. Subwoofer thumps are sometimes accompanied by my UPS switching to battery power for less than a second and switching back. When my Belkin UPS started doing it, I thought it was because it was a crappy UPS and attributed the subwoofer farts to my speakers being hooked up to one of the surge protection (no battery power, they'd kill the battery in 2 seconds if there was a power outage) plugs on it. Went and bought an APC UPS and decided to just get a surge strip for the speakers and hook them up to another outlet, but the subwoofer farts continue. Also, this UPS still cuts out every once in a while and its even more annoying than the Belkin, which just made a clicking noise and switched from showing a green light to an orange one. The f*cking APC makes a LOUD annoying beep beep noise and has woken me up on many occasions.

Taking into consideration that this has happened at times when it could wake me up puzzles me, because that's when power draw is LOWEST and makes me think there's something wrong with the wiring in my room or I've got a sh!tty circuit breaker or something.

Cliffs:

1. See above.

Something's wrong in your wall if that happens only in that part of the house. I can't imagine just one bedroom / office in a house having it's own breaker. Well, I can imagine it, but the house would have had to have been custom built by an AT'er

Err, we have two circuit breaker boxes (whatever the hell they're called), with a circuit breaker for every room. Guess our electrician must've been an AT'er :p.
I'd love to get an electrician over, but I'm not the man (or woman for that matter) of the house and I wouldn't want to piss my dad off, who ignores my repeated complaints of sh1tty electricity in my room. Its a new house too (less than 5 years old), shouldn't be like this.

No, no it should not -- and as for the breaker thing, I grew up in an old house. New houses may well be different. Nevertheless, yeah, this may == fire hazard. You should bug your dad to hire an electrician to look at it.

Been bugging him about it for a week, if he doesn't budge I'm just going to ask friends and hire a good electrician. And I'm not concerened with fire hazards, its not like its my house; I'm more concerned with 1337 equipment or data loss.

If the ratings for my speakers and computer PSU are anything accurate to go by, is roughly 1 KW of power draw too much for a room? AFAIK, our microwave is around 1.5 KW and it doesn't pull this sh1t on us...

Sounds like a lose connection. It could be at the sub panel or a j-box somewhere along the line. It's going to be a real pain to find though. On the pluse side, if it is a bad connection, it will burn off sooner or later, and with just a bit of luck, won't start a fire. Then it will be easy to find, just go to the plug or switch with all the soot on the wall around it.

Edit:
Tell your dad that a building contractor said he really should have it repaired, there is a risk of fire. (Yes, I'm a contractor, been at it for over thirty years).

You never said if it is on all of the outlets in your room or just one.
Use a circuit tester on the outlet.
Or don't touch it.

All the outlets, I actually did mention that.
