A hydroelectric toothbrush is the future. Let the water from the faucet spin a generator to power the brush.
Now that I think about it, how about a turbine in the main water line. Generate power from every flush, shower, etc.
Not in the waste pipe. In the main water line. A small setup is probably too expensive for how rarely the water runs in a home. But I do wonder if it would work at a municipal water plant. I'd guess they have a pretty steady flow of water.

I have one that you just shake to recharge. I just go ahead and put toothpaste on it and stick it in my mouth while I shake to charge it. By the time I'm done charging it, my teeth are clean.
