Electric toothbrush price war?

Nefrodite

Banned
I've had to buy electric toothbrushes through the years, and damned braun charges 50-60 for their model. but now they have imac colored version at frys for 25 bux. and ones that use separate batteries for like 15 bux. the competition finally has the same stuff too.

anyone try out these neon colored brauns? i'm wondering if the braun 3d is worth the 59 dollar price tag.

all my previous models have not been 3d.

Really, do these things clean better than 5 minutes of regular brushing and 1 minute of Listerine?

5 min?! WTF? I have a hard enough time standing there for 2 minutes. I just get distracted and either decide to stay up a lil longer, or decide i'm tired, thats a good enough brush.

Sides, these suck. I know some people who can't even brush their own teeth...

Do they make an electric toothbrush that is 100% waterproof yet? I like to brush my teeth in the shower but I don't see any waterproof ones.
Panasonic can make a 100% waterproof electric shaver so I don't see why a toothbrush wouldn't be impossible. :disgust:

no

eh 5 minutes? a good electric can do 5 minutes of cleaning in 2, thats why they are so good. they are kinda like the dentist ones, yes not quite that insane but the way most people brush the electric will probably be superior. plus ease of use should encourage more use? no? 😉

i went from plaque at dental checkups to basically none each time😛

that is so my gripe. after about a year or two water seems in through the top. i've taken apart some of my older brauns when they started acting up. it was seriously gross. i'm not so miffed anymore since they don't cost as much 😛

but i think making a waterproof shaver is easier since the shavers generally only vibrate something back and forth, u can put a rubber housing thing around the vibrating rod attached to the blades. tooth brushes have a rotating thingie..
