Yes, ALL libs move to Canada!! PLEASE?!?!?!

And let America turn into a cesspool of war-mongering bigots? I think not. We need the balance here.

No, so we can get rid of all the limp-wristed socialists who think the UN should tell us out to run the country.

Electoral Vote Predictor 2004: Kerry 243 Bush 257

(from today's E-V.com)

It just illustrates how fast the current polls (of the day) can effect the model being displayed. At this point, nobody outright wins! ;)

What's so disturbing that even with an extremely close win the NeoCons will take it as a Mandate instead of a vote to keep the Status Quo which it truthfully will be!

As others have pointed out, you're overreacting. :) Take a look at the testeslikechicken thread about people disapproving of Kerry's gay comment. The article points out Kerry is leading in key battleground states. It depends on the poll and the day. This is going to be a very close election from what we've seen and in any case don't forget about the newly registered voters who aren't counted in these polls.

Right now it is a dead heat because Florida is tied, so whoever wins that wins the election yet again.

Kerry's winning! Kerry's winning!

na-na na-na boo boo!

I keep telling people that site is worthless. The information is pulled from so many different polls that it's worthless.

Well the text does say the predicted map is wrothless for prediciting but it does show the trend that bush has been losing support in lots of states in the last month.

I don't think their is a better indicator of the current electoral votes then his website but it might help if he drop the repbulician polls. I understand that he doesn't want to because it would make his site seem biased.

I agree on all points, this is the first site I check every morning ... at the very least to check the latest state polls.

He does a great job, its not his fault that the state polls are so close which causes huge fluctuation in the end results.

The guy admits that his linear regression model isn't doing a good job of modeling this race, which is part of the reason he's removed the link to it from the main page. However, its the model he's chosen to use partially because it tends to be failr predictable in most races.

The site doesn't claim to be perfectly accurate, but its better than looking at popular opinion polls which give you no real idea of how the electoral votes play out.

According to the data I was looking at this morning that is a bit off. Bush is leading FLA, but Kerry is leading in Ohio.

All of these polls are meaningless. They flip-flop more than Kerry does. (sorry, I had to ;))

With margins of error, they're neck and neck considering and will be at the end too. The only poll that counts happens on Nov 2.

It's going to be ugly, but maybe we'll have record voter turnout. That at least would be a plus.
