Ohio's the key and without it settled, its still anyone's election.

Bingo.

I never said it was over. It just was obvious that FL and OH were very important. If Bush or Kerry won both states, than he would more than likely win. I just pointed out that with the Bush win in FL that he was very close.

Why is it matter? NM goes to Democrat in 2000 anyway.

So, if Bush takes Fl (likely), OH (likely), Colorado and NM, that will put him at 271, right?

Bush does not need NM. He just needs FL and OH. FL is a sure thing.

If he doesn't get NM and everything stands he will be at 266 and lose.

My assumption is Bush carries all 2000 Republican states (Gore won NM in 2000). From those states, only OH is in danger. If keeps OH, he wins. If he trades OH for NM, he loses.

Something that may be holding up the Florida polls:

I saw a headline that read "Florida students may be voting past midnight".

I am thinking that entire college campuses could count as 1 precinct, and student voter turnout could be overloading said precincts. UF alone would be like 40,000 students, making up the majority of the population of the otherwise-conservative county it is in.

And with Kerry winning Pennsylvania, he's very close.

Again, it's anyone's game until Ohio is settled.

Then NV needs to turnaround. He needs to take NV or NM. He's leading NM, so that's why I used them.

As long as bush gets FL, OH, AK, and CO then he needs to win either NV or NM to win. Or any other states of course. Which Seems like the mostly out come. I bet Bush will win all those states. But it all depends on Ohio.

Who ever wins OH wins the election.

Bush takes OH, FL, CO, AND NM= 274

Kerry takes WI, MI, MN, NV, NH= 264

If NM flops sides, 269 to 269 :)

Bush needs Ohio and Florida. Guess what... a brand new legal crapstorm has already been summoned in the latter over a million disenfranchised voters, or something. Year 2000, here we come.

Only one I'm aware of is the ACLU one in Florida. That probably not gonna affect anything.

Kerry's lead down to 1 point in WI and NV. OH is still favoring Bush by 4 with Hamilton County still to be counted (Bush territory). NM is still favoring Bush by 3. It's starting to look good for Bush.

Will the riots start tonight, or will they start in 6 months when the figure out what happened?
