Does Newegg ship out game pre-orders so that they arrive on the release date or do they ship them out on the release date itself?
 
I've never ordered a game from Newegg before, this will be my first. I really hope it is delivered on the release date, but saving 12 bucks will make up for getting it a few days late imo.

It will be using steamworks, as stated on their twitter.
 
Thanks, I missed the deal the last time around. Hopefully they'll ship it so I get it on or before the release date. It doesn't really matter if I get it early (PC version) since steam will lock everyone out until 11/11/11.
 
If I preorder this here, do I still get the preorder bonus?

Also, this may be a dumb question, since it is a steamworks game, once it has been associated with my steam account, can I then use steam to download/install it at a later date ?

This is correct.

I'm still uncertain about when Newegg will ship the game. I've never been impressed with Newegg's processing and shipping. Given this game releases on a Friday I wouldn't ocunt on it shipping out until the next Monday :\.

Then again, I've never pre-ordered anything from Newegg, so they might have it ready to ship Friday morning. So perhaps by Monday or Tuesday we may have it in hand. Unfortunately I will be attending a conference in Washington DC that week so I'll have to wait even longer to play it :thumbsdown:
