At least they are aware of the current bugged mechanics with Dragon Knight and Vampire. VR10 DK Vamps with Emperor are impossible to kill. They can 1v10000000000000++++++++ well they can't be killed and can kill any number of other players if they are the active Emperor. Only that combination for an Emperor is like that. Other active Emps are really tough to kill, but they aren't unstoppable. Which is as it should be.

Most of the changes sound like good ones at least. I have zero beef with their current direction in plans for development. Usually that is the first thing to turn me off a game and stop me playing after the initial 30 days free if not sooner. Looking at you FFXIV. Yes I quit 7 days into my 30 day free time after buying the game because it was seriously not worth playing that game at all with what they did at release and shortly after. Looking at you Trion with Rift too.

I agree.

Battlegrounds suck for the most part IMO anyway. I want a big persistent war, no little instanced mini battles.

The reason for the instant mini battles in most games is most people that PVP can not stand gank squads. Gank squads only please a very small subset of gamers that want to PVP. When you have a big open PVP area, it leaves it open for gank squads to form. When you have an "arena" that doesn't happen.

Yah but kind of hard to do in this game, it would be different if you are forced to go in a certain direction, but its pretty open and can move around and not follow main roads.

There are still choke points in cyrodill and points of interest. It seems open, but people will follow certain paths for quests, skyshards, lorebooks, crafting nodes, and scrolls. Makes ganking easier than you think.

Of course those being ganked this way are effing stupid too for not releasing a possible gank could be waiting for them on that easy to identify route, and not taking proper precautions to avoid such a gank.

Ive never heard of this. Ive heard of PVEers crying about being ganked but not PVPers. If youre a PVPer and cant handle being ganked youre not really a PVPer.

And really PVEers shouldnt have anymore say in PVP than PVPers do in PVE.

Havent meet any ganksquards yet. Just regular PvP.

And the only anoying thing is vamps thats crazily OP. But they will get a tripple nerf very soon.

Never repair - waste of money 🙂
I got my 42k horse in the early 20s thanks to never wasting any money on repairs 🙂

My only issue with the game is massive combat lag I seem tobe suffering, as does my wife and friend. Makes combat a frustrating experience and most my deaths occur due to lack of response. I can't identify anything my end that may cause the issue, changing graphics does nothing, overclocking helps not at all, firewall and antivirus not running, a fresh windows was installed prior to release so no old crap clogging up the system. Decent 60mb internet. I knwo others suffer too but I also know plenty who don't seem to have the issue or at least not as severe as we do.

I think he means just wear and/or craft a piece of armor. It's cheaper to make a new set than repair the old.

Only if you want to level while wearing under performing white gear. I know some that do that. They leveled the first 20-30 levels in mostly white with the occasional green and rare blue they found. If something was close to breaking they'd decon it, and make some more white gear to use.

The problem is that starts to become noticeable when you are going against tougher solo mini-bosses or the higher tier private dungeon trios. People wearing crap gear are very noticeable in their under performance.

If for some reason i have gear that's broken, it makes far more sense for me to make new gear and not repair. I'm not talking about whites. But a single round of repairs is easily 2kish at my level (just for example). Or, I could just use some mats and make an entire new set of greens that is level appropriate, including at least Denata runes on the major pieces for far less.

Edit.. I suppose if you are sporting some great non-craftable set pieces or blues you really like than sure. But I'd hate to see what that repair would look like. heh

Repair doesnt cost much more when you lvl up or wear epics for that matter.

The 1.07 patch with the vamp change made PvP much much better 🙂

Between making gear and just keeping hold of green/blue gear that drops you can easily keep yourself well geared without repairing, though I confess I tend to decon all I get and just wear white gear I make - heck, I don't even bother enchanting it most the time and at lvl 42 now I've done everything so far without issue, usually you get so much gear thrown at you that anything I make is quickly replaced by drops soon after anyway.

I know this is like most MMO, i assume, but I find if you fight 3 mobs at one time the change of a purple item is greatly improved. I got 4 purple items in a hour of farming last night just pulling mobs and AEing.

You start getting better drops at higher level. I went the first 15 levels without seeing a single blue drop. From 15-35 I saw blue drops with increasingly more blue drops. By the time you reach 4th zone, that mid 30's tier zone, the vendors all sell blue gear instead of green.

Starting around 35 I started seeing purples drop. I got my first purple drop in that mid 30's dungeon and started getting more and more as I reached higher levels. They are still fairly rare, but I get one now out of the occasional trash mob group now.

Got 5 purples so far in my two VR dungeon runs, unfortunately they are VR5 drops lol. Oh well, I'm over halfway through VR3 so should get there soon. Spindleclutch and Banished Cells are really fun. Each has a few easy bosses and a few that will stress you out. Difficult but not impossible, very well designed fights where you have to pay attention to a lot of things. Going to try Fungal Grotto next.
