You mean more than the 2 expansions? This game was pretty huge to begin with. Not sure how much more updated it could be.

From what I've read online this game will have a very extensible SDK, meaning that there should be all kinds of very cool user made mods and content. This sort of thing has been common for FPS, but other than NWN not so common for RPGs.
For this alone, I'd pick the PC version over the 360 - then again, I have a reasonably beefy PCs. If you need to upgrade your PC to play this game, the 360 version may be better for you. Just my 2 cents.

I'd guess yes on that, just seeing the video and discussion of how much they do forests.

- I remember a SM 3.0 discussion from the Farcry devs talking about how with SM 3.0 they were able to create more lifelike forests.

Just FYI, the 49.99 Pre Order for the Collector's Edition was a mistake. However, Outpost's Software Supervisor is honoring everyone who pre-ordered at the 49.99 price before it got bumped up. Hopefully everyone jumped on this!

$49.99 still wasn't what I would consider "hot". Especially if you tack on the shipping. In store, it will be roughly same price, and you get it the day it comes out. Now maybe if it was $39.99 with free shipping, then that would be hot.

This is the CE, not the standard version.

Yes, they are implementing SM3.0 and HDR.

Supposedly they're also supporting Dual Core CPU capabilities on this.

Have you checked out the Better Bodies 2.2 and Better Heads Mods ? They make the Characters looks pretty darn good.

You may also want to check out the Better Looking Morrowing Mod (plus patch). It's 178M, but it retextures the land/buildings/etc. (adds lots of better Trees also) - it looks a heck of a lot better. I just loaded it up a week ago and am going through it for about the fourth time.

its not a big hot deal, its exactly what most collectors editions are and its the same price as for morrowinds collectors edition.

also do you have a link for better looking and better heads, i found better bodies and its awesome but the others im having trouble getting.

Hmm... still shows up as pre-order/back-order. Was hoping they'd have shipped it already. Tempting to just cancel and get it on sale at compusa.

Amazon is running another one of those $30 credits if you sign up for their Amazon Visa card which would make this cheaper (if you dont mind waiting for it to ship).

I called them yesterday to ask when they thought this would ship: "Definitely this week" was their reply.

I cancelled and pre-ordered it Mon afternoon from Gamestop, and picked it up Mon night. Try some of the local B & M game stores.
