If only I had a better videocard than a 420go in my laptop... It sucks when you have a A64 3400 and a gig of ram in your laptop, but can't play games cuz of the video card.

It looks like I'm going to be happy to have bought Take-Two stock when it was in the pits after all the lawsuits, though (ahem, up $1.00/share today alone so far... thanks ES4!). I probably just jixed myself, though.

damnit. i need to upgrade.

my 2400+ amd and 9800pro is not enough to play this game.

360 is cheaper to get than upgrade.. and the 360 version is just as amazing..

played it over 20 hours this last weekend.. game is incredible..

Yea, just wrapped up the Dark Brotherhood achievements. Got to be one of the sweetest quest lines I've done in any RPG.

blah!
im stuck on one of these missions.. the one where you have to sneak and swap the Captains medication with posion...
they said 100% stealth and i cant cast any of the invis spells yet.. says not enough magica..

That was certainly one of the tougher ones out of the bunch. I utilized some chameleon gear other than that just stay out of the light and angles as much as possible.

Arrg, don't tell me that, that's the next one I've got to do....

Yeah, but 3:30 is the best time to suck people blood if your a Vampire. Wait... Game time /= Real time....

It's time consumptive, because you have to find someone to suck every 24 hours. I find my self going back to the same few people over and over. They must be really anemic by now...

This is my first Elder Scrolls game and I'm getting addicted to it. I have yet to leave the first main city, been battling in the arena. There's so much to do and it's not quick. Now, if I could just figure how to stop the crashes.

I've got an interesting problem as well. Every 15 minutes or so, the screen goes back, but the menu show up ok. I can CTRL-ALT-DEL in and out real fast to fix it, so it's not so bad, but this game needs a patch.

Yea, kind of why I've been holding back, a bit tedious. However, I was offered the "dark path" in the brotherhood.

What videocard do you have? I have noticed a huge number of 6600GT's that seem to be having issues although I suspect a lot of people are having issues due to overclocking as well. I've managed to play for several hours with no crashes or any funny business.

It's not an MMO is it? Referencing the OP.

Negative, single player RPG.

Only kind worth playing.

Lies.
Single player = Can't log on to the net and play with my friends ....
what fun is that?

EDIT: or for the sake of argument, can't sit on the couch with a friend and play that way either.

Its a great game. I dont really care if I cant play it on the net. If you think about it, it really wouldnt work as an MMO.

One of my favorite series so far, its just about caught up to Morrowind as one of the best games ever.

Im not that far yet, I travel by horse everywhere. Dont fast travel at all, just try to find everything I can.

Which makes it the best RPG for introverts. Oh Yeah!

I've only played for a bit over half an hour thus far, but I'm running an MSI 6600GT (not overclocked yet, though) and it didn't crash yet. Of course, now that I've said that, it'll be nothing but crash, crash, crash when I fire it up 😛
I still need to tweak video settings too, I wanted to just start playing already so I jumped in with the settings it determined for me (medium, apparently, I found it odd that it picked 640x480 for medium).

6800OC with the additional 4 pipes opened on it. I have the newest Nvidia drivers.

The only multiplayer I could see working with this game is some kind of co-op with a handful of players. But the world is so active and large it seems like it would be a nightmare to code and probably require a beefy connection.
