It is totally sweet - I've played about 4-5 hours into the game and am totally enjoying it. I gunned it straight to Chorral, short a little stopover in the Fort dungeon. It's an incredible game and I can't wait to spend the next several months of my life enjoying it 🙂

It is a little frustrating that I have to run at 1024x768 though - my LCD is native 1280x1024, so it really loses something in the translation. And even at 1024, it's still quite choppy at times - it does seem to be a little on the inefficient side.

I've got a A64-3200 running at 2.5ghz, a gig of ram, and a 6600GT, for those considering purchasing it. For tough combat situations, it slows down enough I might have to consider 800x600. Right now, I have shadows and stuff running, but I've got them set to medium levels. It sure has a lot of graphic options.

Just got it here and I'm enjoying it @ 1600 x 1200 100Hz on my 22" NEC...

I really like the lock picking...implemented very nicely IMO>

🙂

It really is an awesome game, but my machine isn't powerful enough (AXP 2100+, GF4TI) to run it good enough for me to enjoy it. It's fine, though - I have WoW, and that runs just beautiful.

You'll spend most of your time just figuring out what class to play.

the 6600 is definitely what's killing it....of course my fall will be my CPU - sempron64 OC'ed to 2.0ghz.. only 256k lvl2 cache 🙁

i have it installed, but i think i'll wait and replay morrowind, bloodmoon and tribunal... then get x800 before i play this.
