EL Wiring able to be installed in water lines?

First off, can it be installed inside the tubing?
How much heat would be introduced?

Crazy question I know, but my friend had the crazy idea of introducing it into the system through strategically place tee fittings.
Probably look awesome, but is it safe or would it add a ton of heat?
Yes it would displace coolant, but there would still be more volume in a 1/2" line with the EL than a 3/8" line.
Thanks,
Rob

Nevermind. I found the answer...
"Is GLOWIRE waterproof?
The wire itself is water resistant but should not be submersed in water for long periods of time. Although the casing is plastic, after long periods of time water can be absorbed into the wire reducing its life. The battery and connectors are NOT waterproof. Extreme caution should be used when using near water or splash."
