I just considered buying one myself and I already have a Nu and a GT- that is how cool this deal is.

Seems to be an ultra that didnt make it at stock core speeds. Getting ultra hardware for $75 less than a GT is a nice find. Just hope they are all clocked that way with others, otherwise this package gets refused. 🙂

And get one with the free gift watch.

If only Newegg shipped to Canada...

If anyone is willing to order one of these for me then ship it up here I would be more than willing to compensate you. 🙂

so this card uses and needs 2 molex power cables to run ? Thats the most curious thing about a NU 6800 other the 2-slot solution. I am starting regreting getting the gainward 2400 GS 😛

Well at least the memory is officially verified now. Its still remarkably strange for them to do this. Most places always seem to think there is a DDR3 shortage making cards scarce, and here evga sends well over 100 of these with ultra memory to newegg. Not that Im really complaining.

Say guys, I was referred to this thread from the Gamespot forums and I got so excited about the possibility of this being a hot deal that I've gotten the Limited Edition as well. To justify my impulsiveness, it really, really would help ease my concerns if this card were tested under more optimal conditions.

You've already convinced me enough already, but fortunately for me making an order on a Friday, I've walked into a deal that still has a backdoor out, if you know what I mean. If this seems to be the real deal, please let us know as soon as possible. I would be forever grateful.

Dont worry dude I?m sure the Gainward 2400 GS will still be better I know mine clocks at 420Mhz core and 1200Mhz ram 100% Stable I don?t think this card has a chance in hell clocking the core that high? ? it may not even go past 350Mhz Stable.. hence in a way your buying defective hardware?..but for that price it?s the best value videocard on the market ! Just the worst overclocking 6800 around.

I think 1.6ns DDR3 is awesome and if you can push the ram up to 1320Mhz then that would make up a little for the 325/350Mhz core J

I live in Australia and It cost me $800 for my Gainward 2400 GS

Just got my card in, installed 66.81's and rivatuner. I can confirm card is a full 16 pipes 6 vs. and 1100mhz memory.

3DMark 2003 @ 325/1100 - 10,200
3DMark 2003 @ 350/1150 - 11,002

Wow! If i hadn't baught my 9800p last July id be considering this deal seriously. Amazing deal for what you get. This LE6800 is is the best deal ive seen at a high price point sense the $167 9800p and the 300 some dollar GTs that only a few really got. If you have anything below a 9700/5900, id jump on this deal right away!

You're the third person to offer me...thanks guys.

I'm having second thoughts though. My 9700PRO still runs games fine, aside from Far Cry. $400CDN is alot of cash to drop on a graphics card. On top of that, I was planning for a PCI-E upgrade. Then there's the power supply issues; I only have a 350W Enermax. It's very tempting, and I know Rollo is gonna tell me that I'm nuts for passing this one up. 😕

Took off the god awful turbine fan thing and replaced it with a NV Silencer 5. I get 11,700 in 3dmark 04 @ 390/1150. Anthing higher on the core and I start getting artifacts. Overall I'm happy with it $325. Also the package says it requires 450 watt power supply. Its running fine off my antec 380.

This looks to be an awesome deal, but i'm just going to have to wait and see about that tasty PCI-e SLI sandwich 😛

I wonder if this thing would run off my Antec 350 true-blue?
