Really? Upgrading is soooo cheap now...why?
I don't know.. I just never did it..
When I had a job, I upgraded other things.. got the CDRW(first drive with Burnproof.. was 300 bucks when I bought it.. Plextor 12/10/32A).. 3x128mb ram.. was 200$ back then(66$/stick).. and the IBM Deathstar 75GXP was about 280$ back then(Yeah, it's amazing it's still alive after 3 years, I know.. but it is.)
I had kinda lost interest in the computer, was spending my money on other things.. Then I got laid off, and just have never had the money to do so. Well, I guess that's not true.. I've had the money to do so a few times, but I had more important things to spend it on.
Hopefully I'll be able to upgrade by the end of the summer. It's sad, too.. the reason I'm looking at all this stuff, is I've had the upgrade itch.. but not enough money to really do it.

Plus, my computer has become unstable in the last few months.. random reboots, and then it doesen't count memory fully, even after a cold reboot. :Q Very strange. It doesen't seem to be the memory, so I've decided that my Epox MVP3G-M is crapping out.
So I bought an Epox MVP3G2(came with a K6-2/500 that I'll probably just resell) off ebay for like 30 bucks. I'll probably install it tomorrow and see how things go. Sad to spend money on such an outdated computer.. Heh.
