lol can't imagine what the doctor who delivered that said.

"its twins... errr no, its uhh hmm its a baby with two heads!"
 
Yeah, that's an interesting ethical issue. But would that second baby ever really live anyway? If it stayed, neither would have a life worth living. This way, one does.

We just have to trust that the doctors made the right decision. From the way things look, though, I think they did do the right thing. The malformed twin most likely would have lived life in a vegetative state (is that the right word? 😕 ), and IMHO it was better that the doctors put most of the work into making sure that the one survives which actually has a chance of surviving and living a normal life.

On an interesting note: I grew up on a pig farm and we ended up w/ a baby pig that had two heads. It died right after birth though.
