the calorie count on eggnog is off the charts. It doesn't taste bad, but I don't drink it at all.

I have stood in line for an hour in a line that started 100 feet outside the store in 20 degree weather to buy Eggnog because I waited until 3 days before Christmas.

To say it is popular would be an understatement

I'm a little smarter now and live closer to the dairy farm itself, so no waiting in line anymore. 🙂

Eggnog rules. I can understand why someone wouldn't like it by itself, its too rich. It needs to be diluted with Milk. Otherwise, it needs to be made into an alcoholic concoction. Anyone who doesn't like it simply hasn't had someone make it properly. There are a million recipes out there, it doesn't have to be rum or brandy, try amaretto.

Love Eggnog. I personally love putting Captain Morgans Private Reserve Spiced Rum in it though as it has a really nice smooth vanilla flavor that it adds. It just tastes sooo goood!!!

Love it. As someone mentioned earlier the brand is important too. And I have noticed some brands have a 1 week shelf life, others last for a few weeks. I usually finish it quick though so that doesn't really matter to me.

Absolutely hate the stuff. Don't ever drink it myself, though the rest of my family loves it ... I'm pretty sure the 2 year old could subsist on the stuff, even though she seems slightly allergic to eggs 😛

Always forget we have it, and entire cartons get thrown out though. Just make it available all year!

Finally tried it with liquor recently, not that impressed. Stuff does not mix with alcohol well (physically), tastes fine with Bacardi's.

I always hated eggnog until I tried Southern Comfort Vanilla Spice Eggnog. No it doesn't come with alcohol and honestly I haven't had it with it. The only bad thing is that it is soooo unhealthy!

same here. unfortunately, id be a serious fatass from it. i have a hard enough time keeping from spilling out of my batman underoos as it is without adding egg nog daily to the mix. im pretty sure ive gained 6 lbs this past 2 weeks from drinking it already.
