How can you not love the Egg McMuffin, I live for these on the weekends!

They're relatively healthy (under 300 calories for the sandwich). A nice self contained breakfast (2 english muffins, 1 egg, 1 slice of canadian bacon, cheese and a little butter)

and they taste GREAT!

I  egg mcmuffins but they're rather expensive for what you get. IIRC last time I bought one it was like $3

McGriddles are good too

I prefer the sausage variety, but yea, they're one of my favorite foods. I'd take a sausage McMuffin with egg over a steak any day of the week.

Lucky... Our $ menu just has a sausage biscuit for something like that. It's ok, but it's just a piece of sausage on a biscuit; not much to it.

no, mcmuffins are made with real poached eggs.

Some of the sandwiches where the egg is just a uniform yellow is some kind of egg product made out of a carton, but mcmuffins are made from real eggs.

The price is a problem. Just a few years ago they were about $1.50, now they're like $2.50

If that's true I'd imagine they would be shithouse.

It's McDonald's. People will make up things to hate them.

I  Egg McMuffins.

I prefer making them at home.

1 slice Canadian bacon
1 AA large egg, whipped and microwaved for 25-30 seconds in a 4"-or-so round diameter container (use pam)
1 slice Kraft single
1 english muffin, halved and toasted
salt, pepper (sometimes a little mayo)
win

as said mcdonalds poached eggs are real.
the stuff in bk is fake.
bk gives u more breakfast food, but lower quality
mcmuffins are pretty good for fast food, its about as unadulterated as the stuff gets.

I'd agree but only if made at home - I don't know if I'd want runny yolk from the one I get from McDonalds...

If I'm going to eat breakfast somewhere other than home, there are a lot of really amazing restaurants with delicious breakfast menus. I understand McDonalds is quick... but man the options are hard to contend with.

probably cost more to "fake" a poached egg in any case...eggs cost nothing these days.

anyways watch a "how its made" or one of those shows..even the stuff in the cartons are just regular eggs that were not pretty enough or whatever during production and so were downgraded for cartoon/commercial use.

if we're talking about McDs only, nothing beats a sausage egg cheese bagel or biscuit.

Yup. There are three places close to me that have great early bird specials. 2 eggs, sausage / bacon, toast, unlimited coffee for like $4.50. I live for breakfast :)
