What do you mix with egg to make good egg salad? I usually use mayo and a little salt and pepper, but I was wondering if anyone in the atot community had any suggestions for something new to try.

Let's hear them!

Mayonnaise or Miracle Whip, pepper, some paprika, POSSIBLY some seasoned salt but usually not, and sometimes some celery.

Miracle Whip (more tang for the egg salad), salt, pepper, mustard, a little garlic powder.

And a little cream of sum yung gai, as ElFenix pointed out.

Another vote for the mustard with miracle whip (usually mayo is better, imo, but not in this case), and some paprika- just a bit.
Paprika is really more aesthetic, though.....

Wasabi mayonnaise, freshly ground pepper. Serve with fresh tomatoes, red leaf lettuce and red onion slices on multigrain bread.

Alternatively try:
½ cup plain mayo
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. thinly sliced green onion
1 medium tomato, seeded and diced
1 Tbsp. chopped fresh mint or 2 tsp.
dried mint, crushed
1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 can water packed tuna, drained
diced zucchini or cucumber or shredded carrot (just a bit)

Depending on how you like it, you might consider using the habanero tabasco because it's sweeter. That's what I had been using.

Mayo, mustard, salt, pepper, & tuna. It's pretty basic, but you could throw some spices in there to spruce it up.

I have a light tuna salad just about every day for lunch.

Along with a small can of tuna I chop up mushroom, celery, green pepper, onion and add horse-radish mustard, cayenne pepper, and the juice from 1/2 a lemon.

The wife said I should have protein at every meal so I started making this for lunch and subtracted a fruit.

My recipe is:

1 part Miracle Whip
2 parts drained canned tuna
1/3 part chopped celery
1/6 part diced onion
1/6 part sweet relish

I use miracle whip instead of mayo.. it seems to sit and hold together better, and the "light" version (hah hah!) tastes a little better than light mayo.

What do you mix with tuna to make good tuna salad? I usually use mayo and a little salt and pepper, but I was wondering if anyone in the atot community had any suggestions for something new to try.

Let's hear them!

Wasabi mayonnaise, freshly ground pepper. Serve with fresh tomatoes, red leaf lettuce and red onion slices on multigrain bread.

Alternatively try:
½ cup plain mayo
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. thinly sliced green onion
1 medium tomato, seeded and diced
1 Tbsp. chopped fresh mint or 2 tsp.
dried mint, crushed
1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 can water packed tuna, drained
diced zucchini or cucumber or shredded carrot (just a bit)

Depending on how you like it, you might consider using the habanero tabasco because it's sweeter. That's what I had been using.

Bastard. I guess I need to make the trip and pick up some tuna and what not. The only thing I can think of right now is having a tuna salad sandwich.

I use miracle whip instead of mayo.. it seems to sit and hold together better, and the "light" version (hah hah!) tastes a little better than light mayo.

what he said :p
I think there are some good ideas in that thread.

Is this going to be the longest thread ever?
Perhaps.

but i doubt it

I guesss I have to go shopping for some eggs!!

Brown or White eggs?
Brown is somewhat tastier, but white is easier to crack. I'll go with brown.
BTW, do you guys like toasted or plain bread?
