I want an EFI motherboard. Do any exist?

edit: EFI = extensible firmware interface. It's the BIOS replacement first drafted by Intel a looooong time ago. It's supposed to offer quicker bootup sequences, and can be altered to support basic operations without an operating system. (e.g.: limited web browsing for new drivers)

Foreseeable discussion is not limited to motherboards, so I chose to err on the side of caution and post on the less specific forum. There are the questions of when Vista will natively support EFI, as well as what as what peripherals (think storage) might have trouble supporting EFI.

Then if the Motherboard forum wasn't appropriate, why not General Hardware?

a) ..... that's exactly where this post wound up
b) If you mean "why general hardware", reread my second post and get back to me.
c) way to contribute!

Well so far he's been right.
You havent had any actual replies yet have you?
Only wise-ass remarks.

You asked a motherboard question.
Put it in the motherboard forum.

As for me: Nope. I have a nice little socket 939 that needs to last me for a couple years. I wont be swapping out any time soon.
