Looked into these a while back and seemed to be very effective (and expensive). The problem was that there was a small part that would break after a couple of years and you couldn't get it replaced. YMMVYou want an LP powered mosquito trap/magnet. Your local home improvement place carries them. They work.

Not if you've never heard of it, as a person who needs the suggestion probably hasn't. Even after learning of the device here, I still don't know how it's supposed to work. What does the propane do? Generate heat that attracts mosquitoes? Can't see that being too effective compared to other methods, but I guess it is.
