I have the day off and the fuckers showed up at 730. I was a roofer for like 6 years. Our house should have been a 3 or 4 day job, tops. These guys are on their 9th day I think. One of em even stepped through the sheetrock on my bedroom ceiling. They didnt say shit about it. We found it at 10 at night when we went upstairs to go to bed.

Make sure you use proper protection if doing that or you could catch shingles.

Either you have a really large house or you have really shitty roofers.

I had mine done this summer it took 1 day.

Ripped off all the old material.
Installed new OSB over the entire roof.
Rebuilt chimney cricket.
Installed new drip edge all around.
Installed new stuff that takes the place of felt / tar paper.
New heavy grade architectural roofing shingles.
New Sewer Vent boots and Ridge vent.
And they rebuilt two soffits.

Had it done two months before the hurricane. No issues at all and two days after the hurricane they sent out a crew to check the roof to make sure there was no damage and to repair any if there were. I was amazed at the level of service.
