Effect of memory and processor on batterly life

I'm debating whether or not to go with 512MB or 768MB of ram OR a Pentium M 1.6 or 1.8

Will either of these choices have an impact on battery life? What about if I'm primarily surfing the web, checking my email?

thanks

The processor speed with a Pentium M won't matter as much - if you're on battery, a Pentium M can scale down the clock speed (if you let it) when it's not engaged in something intensive. And as far as RAM goes, WobbleWobble is right - while the memory might draw a bit more power, it may easily make up for that by cutting down on HD access.
