Edwards is worth more than Bush and Cheney combined!

Wow!

Is that so? That's interesting if true (though I imagine it would be harder to precisely winnow out President Bush and VP Cheney's finances, because of their corporate ties, and no, I'm not implying anything sinister by that), and very impressive, since he made every penny of it. Where is this information published?

Hes worth $35-70million, most from cases built upon junk science, where he solely persued cases where research was murky and in the grey area. Claiming things as fact even though they werent and have since been completely contradicted. Which is quite common with torts.

be honest though..... Corporations also use junk science in their defence ala Big tobacco.

Its the PEOPLE who decide the liability anyway not the lawyers

While the jurors make the decision, its ultimately the lawyers that lead them to that. Manipulation is key to both plantiffs and defense. Also big tobacco is a bad example, big tobacco has had several mulit-billion dollar judgements against it, and even more multi-million judgements against it as well.

digitalsm -- Aren't you tired of losing this one, yet? You STILL have nothing to show but your own tired BS. You remind me of a turn on the title of a country song:

:music: :music: Don't It Make Your Blue Eyes Brown? :music: :music: :Q

Same as before and the same as others have asked -- Prove it with a real link, or STFU? :|

seriously digitalism your losing credibility by the second. BACK UP YOUR CLAIMS WITH REAL PROOF.

It's amazing how quick the Republicans are to slander. Geez, I think the Bush campaign had negative ads ready to run for any of Kerry's former VP candidates. Truly low-life, sleazeball politics that I am glad Kerry is not a part of. Whatever criticisms Kerry may make are about the ISSUES, not about silly insignicant things that have no bearing on him becoming president.

Everything Ive said is backed up by sources. Ive even cited them. *Shrugs*

Its not slander, because if it was Baron would have sued the Dallas Observer long ago.

In related news, it looks like Cheney isn't the only so-called "war profiteer":

[Hat tip: Tim Blair]

During the buildup and aftermath of the Iraq war, Edwards bought and sold stock in several defense contractors, including Lockheed Martin, United Technologies, General Electric, British Petroleum, and General Dynamics.

Well, let me get back to reading "Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism" by Max Weber. Y'all take it easy.
