I was searching the P&N threads to look for an Edward Said tribute... but i couldn't find one


i guess you conservatives don't care to read insightful articles written by the geniuses of our time (well not anymore )


anyway - RIP Edward Said - your thoughts and humanitarian efforts will be missed.

very true...

i actually got sad when i heard about this - cause i realized i wouldn't be able to read his opinions anymore.

and his opinions i cherish more than - well the existence of any politician in this country.

edit: and what pisses me off is the NY Times article suggests he's an anti-semite. i swear...if you dare speak against israel in anyway....no matter how truthful and factual your argument is...
you will have your reputation stained.

I guess the resident liberals, communists, socialists, anarchists, acidheads, facists, squares, Birchers, airheads, moderates, neurotics, potheads or <insert name of (least) favorite group here> don't care either? If so, then why didn't one of the aforementioned groups relate this information earlier?

I agree. He was a great scholar.
