It's pretty bad when a 4 year old Honda can still edge out the brand new competition. Just wait until the new civic comes 😛

How did Kia even get invited, the Elantra is questionable as well.
 
Come on, the Kia Spectra and the Elantra over the Cobalt, I've sat and driven in all three and I wouldn't even think of comparing them, I'm smelling a bit of bias here.

What king of fuel economy does it have?

This Spring, before constant A/C use, I was getting 26-28 MPG with my 3S/5-Speed in Atlanta city traffic.

This Summer, I've either been driving with the A/C on or with the windows/sunroof open, and my mileage has dropped to 24-26 MPG in Atlanta city traffic.
