On one site I go to, I get logged out if I close the browser. I have checked "Remember Me" and it still doesn't work. I stay logged in to all other sites. My wife stays logged in all the time, even if she closes the browser.
Is there a way to edit the cookie so it doesn't expire?
Using FF 2.0, didn't care for 3.0.

Go to Tools, options, privacy, under cookies check both boxes and select 1st option in drop-down to read "keep until they expire", and under private data, uncheck "always clear...". Disable the cleaning of FF cookies in your privacy software. I used to keep cookies between sessions of windows no problem.

Thanks but my settings are already as you describe.
I have two cookies for the site.
One says: "Expires: Friday, June 26, 2009 12:20:11 AM"
The other: "Expires: at end of session"

Try deleting your profile. Don't know what OS yours is. Mine is Vista 32. The location is:

C:\Users\***ACCOUNT***\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\???.default

Exit Firefox, copy the bookmark.html & prefs.js to desktop, delete that folder ???.default, start FF, create a new profile, copy those files on desktop back to a new profile folder.

I am on Vista 32 also. I'll give that a try when I get home, thanks.
