Editing baby's video..

Well, I got 2 full miniDV tapes 2hrs. total of video of my baby boy, now I figured someone (that's me) has got to edit this thing if anyone's going to ever watch it. I've edited video before (I use Pinnacle studio which I got bundled with my cam) but this is different, I mean all the clips contain the same thing, a baby doing nothing special other than making weird baby sounds occasionally. Obviously we can't have two hours of that, so I was wondering if anyone has any ideas what should I put into the video, like a lot of effects music etc. also how long do you think I should make it?

I know what you're saying dude, but this is for the rest of the family to watch as well... (uncles, grandparents, nephews etc.)

If it is just footage of a kid being a kid with nothing interesting happening, I would digitize it and throw a label in it that says "billy age 2" and maybe the dates if you have them.

Just edit it down to the interesting parts and put in witty/cute captions between the cuts.

mix in some stills and a tender mp3 track, then occasionally mix in some vids.

I'm going to do that, I want to end up with about 20-25 minutes video, I'll use captions and nice tracks to help the time pass smoothly.
