Editing AVIs. Anyone?

Some questions about editing videos for those in the know...


I have a digital camera that produces small AVIs of about 20 sec length. They have no sound, just video.

I'd like to edit these AVIs to add music, maybe some text, basically mess around with them.

What's the easiest program to use to do this?

you might want to try Adobe Premiere. I've heard it's great with video editing. Other than that, just go to download.com and search "video editing" and you are bound to find something good.

Adobe Premiere isn't great, but it's probably the best for consumer editing. You may want to try VirtualDub, though. It may be able to do what you're looking for.

I use Ulead Video Studio 6.

virtualdub is free and faster then Adobe Premier. VideoMach is $50.
