Well PCAnywhere is up and running with very little hassle.....................their manual helps alot.

PC Anywhere...i have ver 10 and its just like plop in disk...run install on the machines u want to control...theres a wizard to give access to people...once finsihed just gotta know ip's or comp names if on the same network and ur good to go.

does pcanywhere automatically configure the pc ?

are issues like dynamic ip address/ going thru router addressed?
does it automatically do the port routing configuration?


I guess my real question is it idiot proof to set up for a network deprived individual. (think of your grandmother)

I have tried vnc and still cant access my computer accross the internet. no problems LAN access
