Edit **Wrong Tag** but some got it. **$150** for ATI All In Wonder RADEON 7500 64MB version, needn't mail in rebate!

Confirm! It was a wrong Tag.

At BestBuy store.

$200 - $50 instance rebate = $150

Good until Jan 27.

Review.

After reading few replies, I called the store to confirm and the guy name Shawn quoted me for $150 after instance rebate. I asked if it the All In wonder Radeon 7500 and he said yes. I drove to store and the story just as Daniel decribed below. The guys quote me appologies for the mistake.

Edit.

Danield is right.

Has anyone actually purchased this?

I stopped at the local best buy (Salem, NH)
There was on AIW 7500 on the shelf. Sign under it said 199 - 50 instant rebate = $149

I took it up to the register... rang up 199. I told the kid that it was supposed to be 149 after $50 instant rebate. He shut down his register and walked over to the shelf with me. The sign was for the 7500, not the AIW 7500. There was no sign anywhere for the AIW. He passed me off to the douchebags that work in the computer department. They said it's probably $300. I explained that the MSRP is 199, so if there's a rebnate, then 149 is right. Eventually they were able to pull it up on their computer. According to Bestbuy, the MSRP is $249. It has a $50 instant rebate, hence the $199 price. I argued with them and the industry price is 199, the kid says "maybe they sell it on their own web site for that, but the market price is 249"
I told them I thought it was pretty sleazy to put the thing on the shelf with the wrong price. The reponse was "it's not our fault if there's no sign for it."

Oh well, it was worth a shot.

i just was wandering in my local bb in minnesota and its at b&m too.

i bought one. its actaully 'built by ati' (not a 3rd party). not a bad deal....

i think for a b&m that's a pretty darn good deal.... it has 64mb of ram, radeon 7500 gpu. the rf remote is the real advantage over the original radeon aiw. and unlike the other aiw (8500 included) it outputs tv at 1024x768 instead of 800x600. i wonder if that will make a big difference? i guess i will see ;)

Uhmm, are you sure it's the All in Wonder? Can't seem to find it... only one I see is the 7500 vanilla one for $149.99. Any linkage?

ErikHanson. No it's not the same. The AIW Radeon 7500 is a newer one. It is faster, has more feature and including a remote control. Don't get the "White box" it does not have all the calbe needed. Just follow conjur link to find out more.

rawsushi, it's at local Bestbuy store.

too bad TV output is 1024x768. that is the deal breaker for me or I would have been in my car in 10 minutes to go check for this.
I'm no expert buy I think that this output resolution for the TV means you will not be able to see entire screen at once on TV. It will scroll most likely to see entire screen. This makes it worthless for watching Divx (or whatever) out to the TV as you won't be able to just hit "full screen" mode in the player and sit back and enjoy. I'm not motivated enough to screw around trying to set the video window so it fills the screen and all that crap.
Actually, isn't the 800x600 even too high. I use 640x480 off my notebook and it works OK. I was going to get an ATI card for me next computer with TV out specifically because I remembered my friends old 128 with the theatre chip could do different resolutions for the TV out and the computer monitor at the same time and the TV out portion was properly adjusted to the TV screen size from the get go.. or that is my memory of it anway.
Let me know if I'm wrong on this please. I rather hope I am....

i think you can tell the TV out what size to be, it will fill the whole screen (independant of what is on your monitor) BICBW

also: if someone has the tag please scan it, I may need it for a PM if my local BB is out (they often are) -thanks!

1024x768 means that it can output at UP to 1024x768 without scrolling. Anything above that means that it will scroll.

are you sure that the BB deal is a 7500 AIW?

I was at BB this morning and they had a ATI Radeon 7500 for $199.99 - $50 Instant savings = $149.99

But it was a 7500 (not a AIW)

Can anyone confirm this deal? This would be a perfect upgrade to my AIW Radeon which I could probably sell for ~$120 not to mention a BB gift cert I currently have.

yeah guys this is for the 7500!
... they're still selling Radeon AIW for $169.99 (why would they blow out 7500 AIW for less??

Like I said... I was there this morning and they were clearly selling the Radeon 7500 not the 7500 AIW...

Sorry to be bearer of bad news..

Just got back from bestbuy. The AIW Radeon 7500 rang up at the register for $199. No instant or mail in rebate. This was the store in Dayton, OH. The AIW Radeon 32 DDR was $199 - $30 MIR.

as i said above.... its in my hands, bought this afternoon. it is indeed an aiw radeon 7500.... your milage may vary, but i got it for $150 and tax. ;) the cashier had to pricematch to the price they had on the floor which said 199.99 - $50 instant rebate.

Expandable,

Please scan your receipt for us. Maybe we can pricematch it.

I was just at the local BestBuy in Dallas. $199 for the 7500 AIW Radeon. No instant rebate, nothing. The 7500 however, is $199 - $50 instant rebate. Maybe your sales clerk screwed up? What does your receipt say?

That explains why its scanning up at $199.99 over here. Could it be the tag was for the regular 7500 card and the cashier was mistaken.

Just got back from BB.

Found the 7500 AIW sitting above the 199.99-50 instant rebate=$149 tag.

Brought it up to the register was told that it was 199.99 and I told her that it said $149. She personally went back to check and said that it was in the wrong place and but gave it to me for $149.99 anyway.

I asked, how could it be a pricing error? there were 2 more 7500 AIWs identified as $149.99 when I picked mine up. She said not any more.

Pricing error. I got lucky.
