I have a WGR614 v6 wireless router with a cable connection creating my wireless network. Two of the devices hooked up to it can connect fine, the other two cannot. I''m using a 64bit WEP key that I entered when trying to connect each time. All devices are running Windows XP and all have the XP firewall disabled. Here they are:

1. Desktop PC. Hooked up by ethernet cable. Works fine.

2. Compaq X1000 laptop. Connected wirelessly. Works fine.

3. Dell Dimension 8100 with a Netgear wireless card. Connected Wirelessly. When I pull up the list of available wireless networks and connect to my network it looks as if it is working fine. However I cannot actually connect to the internet. No web pages will load and my packets received show up as 0.

4. Dell e1405 laptop. Connected Wirelessly. Cannot connect. When I open up the list of available wireless networks and attempt to connect to mine it simply says "Cannot connect to wireless networks.

Note: All 4 of these devices are able to connect to other wireless networks just fine. Mine is the only one they cannot connect to.

EDIT: Tried disabling the WEP key and it didn't help.

Wow...this stumps me for two weeks, then I post about it and figure it out right afterwards. Apparently access control was turned on in my router software. No idea how that happened, I don't remember ever doing it.

Funny thing is I talked with netgear support about it several times and they never even mentioned this as a possible cause even though it makes perfect sense (I had no idea this even existed before I found it or I probably would've put the two together pretty quickly), they just gave me some general nonsense that didn't even seem specific to my problem.
