EDIT: SOLVED! Anyone know how to program a Hauppauge Remote?

I thought OT would work for this. I learned over at AVS Forum that you can change the INI file of the Hauppauge remote to work with certain applications. I want to be able to control to control the functions of Media Player classic (just really fast foward to get through commercials). On my keyboard I have to press the right arrow key. Here is a pic of the ini filepic

It has native support for Windows Media Player, but you cannot fast foward mpegs, and that is what the Hauppauge records in.

I bought the Hauppauge PVR150 with the remote pictured here

Since I want to record TV, I want to fast foward over commercials. I actually like the included Hauppauge Software with TitanTV link, since I can just click on a program and it will automatically record. However, since it records in mpeg format, mpeg cannot fast foward in windows media player. So I just want to fast foward through commercials.

hmmm, not sure about that. Quite honestly, I did some googling, copy and pasted, then hoped for the best, and it worked! I believe this is for new revisions, but heres the page that taught me how to do it.

2nd post. Substittue Media Player Classic for MCE, customize, and you should be good to go!

EDIT: also, that post was for the PVR250. I have a PVR150 and it worked fine. Not sure about older revision remotes. However, you can buy the newer remote from Hauppuage for 15 bucks

So now the hauppuage remote will work with ANYTHING! Whatever button, just assign it. I've tried winamp and Media Player Classic, both work great!
